JOSH BAKERTHURSDAY, 2ND OCTOBER 200818:21"IT GETS BETTER"The guys are really cool about me going out with Lilly every night this week, which is great of them. They think it's pretty funny anyway, watching me screw myself up and get all nervous about taking her out. They say I should come straight out with it and tell her how I feel, but it's way too soon. She's only just broken up with Jamie, and besides Summer is giving us both a load of shit as well, so it's not a good idea.
We've agreed to go see Tropical Thunder, thought we'd best go and see a comedy, I don't know what kind of films Lilly likes but I'm pretty much set with anything. I spoke to my Mum today, who wouldn't stop oooo-ing and ahhh-ing as soon as I told her I had been taking Lilly out. The guys say that's all my Mum and their Mums have been talking about; Mum absolutely adores Lilly and I keep having to tell her to stop telling all the other parents that we're going to get together. There's so much to sort out.
Uni's going really well, we're still at the start of things really but I know i gotta knuckle down and start working soon. Me and the guys are having loads of fun, and everything's great here. I'm even thinking about getting myself a job - Dad's not too keen on the idea, but I'm pretty much fed up with him paying my way through life. I gotta grow up sometime.
